gimp-1.3.4

Hi,

I just installed and tried Ginmp-1.3.4. Tere are no working text-tools and the path-section in the layers-dialog doesn't work.

Is this normal in this edition or do I miss something?

Hi Hago -

Gimp-1.3.x is still under heavy development and is not guaranteed even to compile. A great deal of rewriting and reorganizing of the code is going on, so for now gimp-1.3 is pretty much a developers-only piece of code.

In other words, yes, stuff not working is normal for this edition at this time.
