Why does GIMP not release Gimp 2.10 for Mac?

Hello,everyone,
I am a Mac user, I found that the GIMP 2.10 version is useless for the official version of macOS. I think this caused inconvenience to some GIMP for mac users. Why does GIMP not release Gimp 2.10 for Mac?

I’m quite satisfied with (and grateful for) Partha’s 2.10.3 compilation. Thus far, it works without issues on my Mac box running 10.11.6
