desaturate luminance => double free corruption

With GIMP and GEGL (both GIT 2016/11/15) (GIMP commit cc12c3a)

the following crash is reproducable:

Open an JPEG image then

Colors -> Desaturate -> Desaturate -> Mode Luminance

crashes GIMP with

*** Error in `/usr/bin/gimp': double free or corruption (fasttop): 0x00007f5934001400 ***

Is this a known bug?
