Viewing Luminosity Masks

Viewing Luminosity Masks

Installed Saul Goode's revision of Pat's Luminosity Mask script and it runs just fine, but when I click on the visibility of one of the masks in the Channels window I just get this "gray veil" over my color image? I would have expected to see a grayscale representation of the mask. For example, the DDD mask certainly would be obvious! Any ideas?

GIMP 2.8.18 under OS X 10.11.6

If you want to see the channel, you can drag it out onto the layers to create a new layer with it.
