Cloning tool

I am currently contemplating the installation of GIMP. I do not have it downloaded yet. I am wondering if GIMP contains a "cloning tool" similar to the "stamp" tool in Photoshop. I use this tool extensively and would like to have it available to me in GIMP.

Cloning tool

Yes there is a clone tool in GIMP. Here is the documentation about it: http://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/gimp-tool-clone.html

Cloning tool

I use it a lot too, in GIMP. It works slightly differently than in PS, but seems to be a more powerful tool in some ways. Some of the differences are subtle, but nice.

Send in the clones:

https://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/gimp-tool-clone.html

And for seamlessly blending the cloned content into its destination:

https://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/gimp-tool-clone.html

Duh. Failed to copy the 2nd address before pasting it in. It seems I can't manage to clone plain text very reliably this morning.
