brush reacts different

Hello,

After creating a gif animation with Gimp 2.8.4. The brush reacts differently than default. It reacts like a leaking inkt pen. I tried to reset it, but does not work. If I create a new empty drawing, the brush reacts as default. Default is a non sharp like

Hoe can I change the brush behavior to default?? It seems this behavior is tied to my gif now....

GIF files are limited to maximum 256 simultaneous colours, which causes the problem you're seeing - click Image > Mode > RGB to get it back to normal (note that if you export to GIF, then re-open the GIF file and switch it back to RGB several times, you'll likely start seeing colour degradation).
