toolbox cannot open

on osx 10.7.5
new gimp 2.8.2 (for mac)

toolbox is one long list with tools toolbox preferences tool options window is only some pixel wide. no way to adjust size of toolbox no way to adjust size of tool options window

how to use gimp again with tool options open? thanks

Are you using single-window mode? Uncheck this option in the Image: Windows menu.
