Query about importing palette in batch mode

Hello,

Can you please tell me which procedure i should use to import a palette created from an image in batch mode?? I want that .gpl file created for the further usage..I converted image to indexed image with the argument MAKE_PALETTE but my new palette is not saved in the gimp/palette directory..How can i save or import the created palette??
