You can make a simple *.bat file on the desktop and then click that one instead of the original shortcut. That way you can launch whatever version you need/want.
The file should contain these four lines:set lang=en cd c:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\bin
start GIMP-2.6.exe
exitCristi
