XCode syntax highlighting plug-in for Script-fu

I'm not sure how many people use Mac OS X for Gimp Script-fu development. However, I have created and posted for XCode a free syntax highlighting plug-in for Script-fu. The plug-in will allow XCode to syntax highlight correctly any Script-fu code you use inside XCode. XCode normally comes bundled with Mac OS X as an optional install.

After installing XCode must be restarted and any XCode projects you intend to use may need to be recreated to get the syntax highlighting to take effect. Note this plug-in only provides syntax highlighting capabilities within XCode and doesn't allow XCode to compile, interpret or otherwise run Script-fu code.

The files are posted here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/script-fu/files/XCodeScript-fu/

The complete plug-in zipped can be found here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/script-fu/files/XCodeScript-fu/XCodeScript-fu.zip

I have also posted a photo of it in action here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/script-fu/photos/view/31a4?b=1

You might need to register or signup with the yahoo script-fu group to get access to the files. Note to access the XCode syntax highlighting capabilities for Script-fu Scheme you will need to use the ".scm" extension on your script-fu files.
Enjoy. :)
Chad.

XCode syntax highlighting plug-in for Script-fu

Hi,

I'm a member of the Wilber-Loves-Apple community (darwingimp.sf.net), the "pseudo-official" source for GIMP on OS X as listed on gimp.org. We are interested in everything OS X-related, therefore if you would just like to drop a message by our forums I'm sure we could find a place to host and advertise your add-on :)

Sounds like a great idea. I posted on the Wilbor-Loves-Apple forum at the following link: http://gimper.net/index.php?topic=699.0

Hopefully someone there will want to host the files on their server as well. :D Chad.

Can someone point to a syntax highlighting for Script-fu better if usable in windows (anyway i use also Ubuntu)

At the moment i'm using notepad++ and sort of works(at least help to check if all parenthesis match ) but is for Scheme or Lisp there is maybe something more specific for Script fu ?
