Disabling unmaintained languages

Hi,

I'm currently trying to solve our broken build:

http://jenkins.cloud.fedoraproject.org/job/gimp-help-2/ http://jenkins.cloud.fedoraproject.org/job/gimp-help-2/476/console

Whatever I've chosen now, doesn't seem to work. I'm now hesitating to disable languages which we know are unmaintained anyways. In fact we're not building quite a few of them like Finish and Korean.

On the other hand, the Jenkins automated build provides a way of telling that these translations are broken. Perhaps it could be implied.

I'd be going ahead with my commit to disable Slovenian and Swedish until someone provides translations.

If there are any rejections to this, let me please know.

Kind Regards,

Roman Joost

Disabling unmaintained languages

The last line reads that there is a line break (\n) in the untranslated message missing in the translated message or vice versa at the given place. Does that help?

Kind regards

Sven

Not really, since I thought I fixed this problem. Yet it seems that it must have something todo how we're extracing the strings and how the po files are generated.

My patch had no effect on the problem. What's more annoying: I can't really reproduce the problem. So it seems to be environment dependend as well. For example, run the XML build for sl only:

ALL_LINGUAS=sl ./autogen.sh --without-gimp make xml

and you get no problems :((
