Mike says that no emails were sent (up to the point when the bug status
change probably triggered one). This can happen if mails on comments to
bugs are disabled in one's email settings.
So everyone who's ever reported bugs in GNOME Bugzilla, please go to
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email
and make sure that you receive mails for important updates, like new
comments.
