Bug 690089

This discussion is connected to the gimp-developer-list.gnome.org mailing list which is provided by the GIMP developers and not related to gimpusers.com.

This is a read-only list on gimpusers.com so this discussion thread is read-only, too.

Bug 690089

On Sun, Mar 17, 2013 at 12:33 PM, Michael Haseler wrote:

As I predicted, someone has yet again decided that because GIMP doesn't destroy their work and makes gimp unuseable =by people like me

It is ... but I cannot see how to change the status back to its proper status which is a critical show stopper for users who have xmp metadata.

You should post to the gimp-devel mailing list instead of emails all of those individual email addresses.

The bug you filed is almost certainly a duplicate: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=629044 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=620552

Furthermore, when and where have you made this "prediction"?

Chris

PS - post any replies to the list, not to me.

No. I set it to incomplete, using the Bugzilla stock text:

" What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |RESOLVED Resolution| |INCOMPLETE

Closing this bug report as no further information has been provided. Please feel free to reopen this bug if you can provide the information asked for.
Thanks!"

The bug you filed is almost certainly a duplicate: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=629044 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=620552

Or maybe

Mike says that no emails were sent (up to the point when the bug status change probably triggered one). This can happen if mails on comments to bugs are disabled in one's email settings.

So everyone who's ever reported bugs in GNOME Bugzilla, please go to

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email

and make sure that you receive mails for important updates, like new comments.

Regards,
Michael
