Question about building GIMP with seamless clone

Dear GIMP/GEGL developers,

I was wondering if someone could give me some hint: In order to compile GIMP with adaptive cloning shall I merge just the new branch 'soc-2011-seamless-clone2' into master or the old[?] one 'soc-2011-seamless-clone' should be merged first? Also what about GEGL? In its tree there is only the original seamless-clone branch. Will GIMP master_+_seamless-clone2 compile with GEGL built from master_+_seamless-clone ?

The gimp side of seamless clone isn't done yet, neither branch will actually do anything at the moment.
