Hi,
I image menu, the configure grid command, it says "Intersections (crosshairs)" are the default. In 2.6 for me Solid is the default.

This text about color templates: "It was originally created by Netscape to provide " "colors that would look the same on both Macs and PCs, and Internet Explorer "
"3 could manage it. Since version 4, MSIE handles a 212 color palette."

Is it not old? Does anybody have MSIE 4?

and finally, how do we surround GIMP-2.6 with acronym: [acronym]GIMP[/acronym]-2.6 or acronym]GIMP-2.6[/acronym]?

I think [application][acronym]GIMP[/acronym]-2.6[/application] is perfect.
