And hi one more time!

Couldn't we have a square (and square fuzzy) brush by default on Gimp or it's out of the scope/vision/something else of the product?

I think that solid, one-color, vector-based brushes would be even better to have. They would make square, round, oval and you-name-it brushes just a subset of possibilities. All that by implementing one infrastructure :) — the rest would be defining brush shape.

go to the brush chooser, click on new brush, click on edt, set it to square...
