GIMP-Python

Hi,

Does anybody know where I can download GIMP-Python from? Our sysadmin says that whatever he found on the Internet does not work.

Thanks, Andrei

What did he find, and why does it not work?

GIMP project detailed updates

Hi GIMP mentors,

I
have done some initial algorithm analysis and design. I have done some relevant work before, and thought that it could be applied to this project with some adjustments or upgrades.

I have posted updates in the comment area below my proposal:
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Further GIMP project details - Improve Foreground Selection Tool (GIMP)

http://socghop.appspot.com/student_proposal/show/google/gsoc2009/leopold0808/t123848259739 -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry, if it is long-winded, but it shows lots of possible implementing details. At least, it helps to go through as much details as possible. I am 80% sure that I could complete the project well. I can see that it could be a very powerful and handy tool. Besides the link, I will put a few lines here as synopsis of my artical too...

1. Statistic approach of improving Detail Refinement Brushes.

Basic logic.My
previous work. Possible
modification.RefinementPossible
application to automatic video segmentation.

2. Background studies on the SIOX
algorithm.

3.
Exclusive feature in GIMP

Regards,

Zhenfeng.
