oh.. I use gimp 2.6.0 on linux mint(ubuntu 8.04 based) kernal : 2.6.24-16 and I'm using compiz fuzion.

and I checked on windows xp pro sp3 with gimp 2.6.0 it happens the exactly same

Hi and thank you for your feedback. I'd call this a design flaw rather than a bug, and I'd say there are way better things to worry about than this.

It wouldn't have been necessary to make a video for this (and to upload it to youtube...). This is a known problem. But since changing themes back and forth is not something that the user does very often, no one has found the motivation yet to fix it. If you care about it, why don't you try to fix it and send us a patch?
