Bugs for documents ... ?

This discussion is connected to the gimp-docs-list.gnome.org mailing list which is provided by the GIMP developers and not related to gimpusers.com.

This is a read-only list on gimpusers.com so this discussion thread is read-only, too.

Bugs for documents ... ?

A little while ago I reported a documentation bug ... some text appearing in Spanish in the english HELP. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=492263

I noticed another one (some Scandinavian language appearing in English) and some other occurrences of options not described to match the current 2.4.1 gimp - looks like changes that haven't been made from 2.2.x series HELP.

Question: is raising separate bugs to "GIMP-manual" more trouble than its worth to the developers or would pointing these out be of assistance to those who actually know enough to correct them?

Regards ... Alec -- buralex-gmail

You can file bugs against the GIMP-manual. If you find several of those mistakes, collect all in one bug report. That will minimize the management effort for us.

Greetings,
