HELP FOR VERY FINE HAIR SELECTION,PLEASE?
Good day all,
Tried to make a fine selection of the hair (picture is attached) in order to copy and paste on other background.
Did try several approaches e.g laso selecting, add/subtract, sharpening, masking, colours manipulating, etc for 3 days. Nothing produced the desired very fine selection of the hairs. The selection is crude, jagged and very thin hairs just can not be properly selected. (I am still learning Gimp)
The task for me is extra difficult because the background is multicoloured and selection is even harder. (Unlike some tutorials where the background is a plain flat colour, easy to work with).
I guess there is something important I am missing or don’t know. So, could someone with large experience show me the correct technique/steps for making this fine hair selection, please?
