gimp-perl for gimp 1.2.5

I am having problems installing the gimp-1.2.5.tar.gz. This seems to be due in part if not wholly to not being able to get hold of gimp-perl.

I admit it may be me just being stupid. It may be blindingly obvious-but I cannot find gimp-perl.

I've tried the usual places rpmfing, and I think the perl homepage, aswell as the gimp website, but no joy.

Any clues.........Please.

gimp-perl is part of the gimp-1.2.x tarballs.
