Good day,

Can anyone tell me the practical differences between sharpening the L channel in LAB, the L channel in HSL and the V channel in HSV? Basically, how do these different options affect the final result?

LAB gives best perceptual consistency, HSL gives worse, and HSV gives worst. In practical terms, that means that sharpening will seem more even, with less spots that seem over-sharpened.

Basically, how do these different options affect the final result?
