where is Image/Mode/Decompose ?

I followed the tutorial here
http://www.gimpguru.org/Tutorials/SmartSharpening/ and stopped at the "Right-click on the duplicate image and select Image/Mode/Decompose.".

There is no "Decompose" here. What now ?

I'm on Win32, GIMP 2.4.5.

You could have used the Plug-In Browser to locate the plug-in in the menus.

From a "tutorial" I am expecting to learn something. If I have to learn

things only from Google or asking other sources, then what is the use of a step-by-step type tutorial ?
Other than that, how do I suppose to know that this is a plugin ? From my point of view (as generic user) it may be very well part of the main program. Or everything in GIMP is plugin ?

1)That is a error in the tutorial Decompose is not a image mode Is in Colors/Components/decompose...(there is also REcompose you will need it after ) 2) this do not seems a question for the developer list will be better ask to the gimp user list or to some gimp forum as http://www.gimptalk.com/forum.php
