More on specify a perspective correction precisely

It appears to be true that the only way to specify a perspective transformation is to move the corners of the handles to desired locations. But this seems to be almost impossible to achieve. I can get very close but never right on. If the horizontal coordinate is right, the vertical coordinate is slightly off and vice versa. If you are trying to paste as in stitching panoramas, this can create problems,

The best solution would be the ability to enter the target positions directly. Short of that, if one could move the position a pixel at a time by use of the arrow keys, one could get where one wanted. That capability may have existed in an earlier version of gimp, but it no longer seems to work.

Keyboard control for the transform tools would be very nice to have. I am quite sure that it never worked, but we would happily accept a patch that adds this feature.
