A better way of doing textures would be to show 'phantom' copies of the tiled image like this:
Do'h??
I thought the one line answer to this would rather be: Filters->map->make seamless
The result of this is less than perfect, and the time invested in the original mail seems to indicate that there is interest to implement it, and the bug report is the best possible answer in this case.
yes..sorry...
I had not read the first e-mail with due attention. I saw the "copy""copy", part, my mind put "blur" in the place of the diagonal slashes, and whe n I had it off sight, I thught it was exactly about what make seamless does. But indeed, it is exactly about what the bur report is.
At least I don't read this mail as a basic "help, can someone please show me how to make a seamless texture?" message.

Subject: [Gimp-user] Animation question To: Gimp Questions

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"It's me. I was wondering is there a way to make the animation keep going and going no matter what you click on your tool bar. When I was watching an animation I did for my friend on a forum, I clicked Stop on the tool bar and it stoped. I clicked refresh and it started again. and when you click on a link that is on that same page and it opens in a different window and you click on the link, it takes you to that different page, but when you go to the window with the animation, it stoped. Is there a way that you can make it go and go no matter what?
