Save All Open Files as Project

So I'm hoping to find a way to basically save the present state of Gimp 2.10 when I have multiple images open and I'm working on them. I've seen a script that basically saves all open file by just overwriting the old ones, but there's no way to re-open Gimp and restore my session and all of the images and layers so I can pick up where I left off.

Anyone know of a way?

Thanks.
