How to create something like this

Not sure what to search for to look for a tutorial for this. Looking to create something like this. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

As far as I know that is an Adobe Illustrator plugin. Very orderly arrangement of text. Very nice.

Nothing directly like it in Gimp. There is an old plugin b&p-word-art which will create a new image filled with random-placed user defined words.

Not easy to find that old plugin so attached. Unzip. Using Windows? Put it in C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins. Find it in Filters -> Render -> Bytes and Pixels

Lots of user input required Experiment with plugin parameters. Then moving layers around to suit. Apply some colouring. Add a shape as a layer mask.

You can get an interesting image with a bit of work. Nobody said anything about simple.
