Tablet

New user here. Need suggestions for beginning tablet that works well with GIMP. Preferably under $100 USD.

I'm mostly into Celtic/Viking art and a little pen/ink/wash landscape things.

Looking forward to getting into the digital realm.

I'm guessing you mean a drawing tablet, with a stylus. Huion and Wacom are likely brands, and you can get used ones fairly cheaply. Which one to get might depend somewhat on which Linux distribution you use - or if it's Mac OS X or Windows or some other operating system... so do a Google search first e.g. for "Wacom bamboo gimp", or whichever tablet you are considering.

If you're here in Canada, Kijiji is a good source, especially in urban areas; if not, there's also eBay. There are lots of tutorials on youtube.
