Gimp 2.10 Debian library problem
I have succeeded to install gimp 2.10 with the deb-package in sid on two
computers. On the third however I get this error:
gimp
gimp: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgegl-0.4.so.0:
undefined symbol: babl_process_rows
How do I find out what is causing the problem. The same gegl and
babl-related packages were installed on the problem computer that worked
on the others:
wajig list gegl
ii libgegl-0.4-0:a 0.4.0-1 amd64 Generic Graphics Library
ii libgegl-common 0.4.0-1 all Generic Graphics Library -common f...
wajig list babl
wajig list babl
ii libbabl-0.1-0:amd64 0.1.46-2 amd64 Dynamic, any to any, pixel format conversion library
ii libbabl-dev:amd64 0.1.46-2 amd64 Dynamic, any to any, pixel format conversion library (development files)
wajig list gimp
wajig list gimp
ii gimp 2.10.0-3 amd64 GNU Image Manipulation Program
ii gimp-data 2.10.0-3 all Data files for GIMP
ii gimp-data-extras 1:2.0.2-1 all Extra brushes and patterns for GIMP
ii gimp-python 2.10.0-3 amd64 Python scripting support for GIMP
ii libgimp2.0 2.10.0-3 amd64 Libraries for the GNU Image Manipulation Program
I have also installed gimp with flatpak but do not know how to install
plugins e.g. the "heal selection" tool to be used there.
In Debian gimp-python provides this but the flatpak version does not
"see" it.
