Weird "boundary" lines on pdf ?

Weird "boundary" lines on pdf ?

Hi

I have a problem when exporting to pdf, i get grey boundary lines from some selections i have made and filled with white color. The bagground is white, so that's not the problem.

The funny thing is, when exporting to any other image type, i don't get the lines, it's only with pdf.

Have you tried to display the resulting PDF file with different PDF viewers? And different magnifications too?

I had a similar problem appearing only with Adobe Reader, not with SumatraPDF.

It's there in Libre Office as well, i'm on Linux btw.

But instead of coloring a selection, i just created new images i the needed sizes, and copied them in place, no gray lines there, weird though...

Check if those selections have borders of partially selected pixels, e.g. by examining the borders of the corresponding quick mask.

If yes, then this could be an effect of how partial transparency is treated by the export to PDF or the viewer used to view the PDF files.
