last i knew, beta.gimp.org, the new computer that will host the web site
was having some weird issues that might have something to do with the
heat at the room in berkeley. they replaced some ram and this did not

yes, there have been a few "holidays" and they have been pleasantly
disguised as "Cons". the person working on beta when to gimpcon and
shortly after attend OSCon to accept a $500 award from opensource.org
which involved a ten hour drive and hanging out with an old friend,
yadda.
sorry sorry sorry for the delay and for the problems with this scsi
stuff. dunno what is so good about it when it has so many problems ....
