Layers book

Find it hard to believe that I didn't get much help last week so let me try again...

Can anyone recommend a hands on tutorial for learning layers? Would this book transfer over to Gimp?

Layers: The Complete Guide to Photoshop's Most Powerful Feature (2nd Edition) [Paperback]

http://www.amazon.com/Layers-Complete-Photoshops-Powerful-Feature/dp/0321749588

Any better ideas for a book? I have the Klaus Goelker book but not enough on layers to learn a thing, skipped over really.Thanks.

Layers book

Good day!

You might want to try to look through the help of GIMP itself. Have a look at this URL: http://gimp.open-source-solution.org/manual/index.html . Section 8 is a good place to start for someone looking to understand layers as far as I can guess.

Good luck! Boris

So it's http://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/ + AdSense

Nice job, Boris :)
