Hello Gimp-user-list

I suggest a key combo for this, for any tool open.

Also, I sometimes find no grid because the config is back to the miniscule spacing. Is a saved image/template a good way to control this? I'm not sure whether global variables would be better, subject to override-reset within a file.

Ah ha! Per http://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/gimp-concepts-shortcuts.html I now have ctrl-alt-g as toggle.
