Hello Gimp-user-list

User manual does not mention resolution. US-Letter template is 300ppi. Setting an image to higher res does not stick. I had used PhotoShop at 1200ppi for edits and merges, then saved final as 300 to 600 dpi for printing. How can I do similar in GIMP?

In menu: Image > Print Size?
