GIMP Menu Displayed Left to Right (in Arabic Language Region?)

Hi, today was my first day of GIMP and I'm off to bad start. I live in United Arab Emirates and right from start the menus are displayed right to left (image attached). Is this something to do with regional setup or something? Please help, I would love to try the application. Regards, Sajid
