Hi, Christopher,
Gimp uses GPL. You can find more about it here:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/quick-guide-gplv3.html
In short, it can be used just about anything you can imagine, provided
you give your users the exact same rights. This does NOT extend to
anything you create on Gimp, just the software itself, and any
modifications you may make on it.
The most important aspect of GPL may not apply to you, but it's that
If you make a modification to the software, and/or you decide to
redistribute it, you MUST honor the copyright of the intellectual
property associated with the product, and you MUST release the full
source code including the parts you've modified.
Just using the software is completely free, of course, and no strings
attached. In fact, it's encouraged. :D
Good luck, and best regards.

I had a question about the GIMP license. Can it be used in an enterprise,
corporate, or government setting? I would like to install it on a couple of
computers in our office but before I do, I need to make sure the license
agreement allows this. From what I could tell, it's okay but I need to be 100%
sure. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
