Hi,
i need some help to find the correct effect. I have an image on top layer and a background gradient on bottom layer, i would like to shade the image (smaller than background) to the background to melt image into background without a clear edge. Is this possible? How?

something like that, yes. I did it using level masks, thanks to your reply.
