Script fu may call Gegl operation ?

Something as

duplicate layer Apply Gegl operation/c2g on the dup
Change layer mode of dup in Value

will be possible with script fu ?

From the default of gegl operation /c2g i will need only to change the

setting for "samples" (from 3 to 6 or more ) would be possible ?

Not yet, but it is a nice idea. Someone would have to make up a patch that allows to call a GEGL operation (with all its parameters) over the PDB. Not trivial, but certainly doable.
