Nagging little problem with GIMP 2.6.7 on Vista 64 with Intel integrated graphics.

This discussion is connected to the gimp-user-list.gnome.org mailing list which is provided by the GIMP developers and not related to gimpusers.com.

This is a read-only list on gimpusers.com so this discussion thread is read-only, too.

Nagging little problem with GIMP 2.6.7 on Vista 64 with Intel integrated graphics.

Ok, this is minor. But thought I would mention it.

Environment: GIMP 2.6.7; Vista 64; Intel Graphics

When I open any Menu and scroll down it, the blue bar that shows where you are
seems to obscure the label name of the menu item that it is over.

Either that or the black text is turned to blue. I can't tell.

The point is that you can't see the name of the menu item you are highlighting.

Suggestion to fix: lighter color blue for highlighting menu items or XOR the label name

GIMP on Windows takes the colors from the system colors. If this results in broken menus, then there appears to be a problem in that code. But this is not GIMP code. Please report it to the GTK+ developers instead.

There is already bug 591186 - GTK Menu Bar is unreadable under Windows 7
