Printing from only one print jet

I understand that in the past Gimp could not work with CMYK colours, but that the current version 2.6.x can. I need to clean one of the print jets on my HP Officejet 4255 printer and I wonder if I could create an image in Gimp that would spray with only this jet. How would I go about creating three images, each of which would only use one of the CMY colours for printing?
