create speedline like manga

hi all,

I try to create speed line like manga . an example is http://isa39moda3.free.fr/ISA41/mangamania/Images/Dessins/naruto_ch243_p06.png

is there any script fu or a simple way to do that ? the principle is easy, create lines with different size and reproduce it randomly in the selection.

is that exist alwready or I have to do it myself ?

thanks

Add 1 pix wide white layer, render RGB noise in it (with correlated option toggled so it appears grey), adjust curves or levels to keep the ammount of black/dark grey dots you want, then scale horizontally to fill the final size. Use colour to alpha or blend modes to keep only the lines.
