compatability between Gimp and Olympus Master

Hi.
Has anyone had a compatability problem when using 'Gimp' to modify pictures. I use Olympus Master 2.04 software together with 'Gimp' for modifying my photos. Problem is, after they are modified and saved, when I try to open with the OM2 software, it closes! I have tried saving the modified pic in a new folder, but again the OM2 software crashes if I try to open it. I prefer to use the OM2 software to print my pictures as I like the print formata available, but cannot print at the moment as it keeps closing! Any help/advice please anyone?
Thanks
Jeff

OM2 and GIMP obviously don't get along, so I have settled on UFRaw and Gimp. You can then open your ORFs in GIMP and UFRaw starts automatically.

Setting the Print size correctly, after maybe adding a border by increasing the canvas size by, say, 20 pixels, and flattening with an appropriate background colour, gives a good print result. OM2 is in danger of being nudged off my desktop.
