Hi everyone,

I want to know when will gimp 2.6.5 release, I am doing proofreading of Simplified Chinese translations,I wonder if I can finish my work before new version release. :-)

Sven usually makes a new release when the number of fixed bugs since the last release (which you can see in the ChangeLog [1]) becomes about the same amount as always for a bugfix release (which you can see in the NEWS file [2]). There are no specific dates to be given but you can try to extrapolate a release date by looking at dates for previous releases).

Most probably you have at least another two weeks before the 2.6.5 release. Perhaps even longer. So far we haven't collected much bug-fixes in the gimp-2-6 branch since 2.6.4.
