Default starting tool

Friends:
I know I can affect the starting tool by selecting the "Set input device settings on exit" button in "preferences / input devices" panel, but I'd really like to have the move tool as my starting tool, without having to remember to select it every time I shut down GIMP. Is there a setting somewhere that would let me do this?

Default starting tool

Save the tool settings when you have them as you want. It's not at all hard.
