Can I, for instance, convert a 2277x3080 pixels image to a 1024x765 (XGA) image and how should I do that?

Is it possible to resize about 3,000 photos using the method listed in the tutorial as a batch process to 640 X 480 while also watermarking them and then make an additional image that is 100 X 100 from the watermarked 640 X 480? That's the link I need.
