GIMP metadata plug-in

Hi,

I'd like to hack on the metadata browser (plug-ins/metadata). I'm currently trying to get an overview of the plug-in. The README file provides valuable facts about what's currently implemented. A lot of code is currently commented out.

Is there anyone who can give me valuable pointers? I try to come up with something usable ...
