Wiki spam

Hi,

does anybody know who is the wiki maintainer?

Currently we are getting up to 20 spam pages every day. There is an "Antispam subsystem" (sometimes updating its "BadContent" page), but obviously it doesn't work: spammers can add new pages with links to websites listet in "BadContent".

I removed/replaced the content of several spam pages, but I can't remove those pages.

Meanwhile, the "recent changes" and "title index" pages (in German: "AktuelleÄnderungen" and "TitelIndex") are totally useless.

It looks like nobody cares... :-(

The latest version of MoinMoin has a new anti-spam feature called text captchas which asks the user to solve a question before accepting a form.

Try editing that page and you can see it in action. An upgrade to the latest version will help cut a lot of this spam.

Kind regards,

Mukund

I know, but all that is a task for the maintainer, I'm just an ordinary user.

Thanks,
Ulf
