Nice new feature for gimp

Hi,

Ive made a plugin for gimp id like to share tho buggy as i have no time to work on it any more. Its supposed to do something like that:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIFCV2spKtg

and already has some features like that. Still the heuristic for the shrinking is minimal(using gimps edge detection).

You have to compile it yourself and its GPL. I just made a small page for it:
http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~unve/bildschrumpf/ theres an example shown as well.

Dunno if this mail is for devel or user, so i post in both.

Greetings, Henning Eberhardt

Nice one.

But it works in the same way that this plugin: http://liquidrescale.wikidot.com/ ? or has more features? If have diferent features maybe both (you and the guys of Liquid Rescale) can join efforts.

Thanks for the plugin anyway :)

i can't build, smh.h missing :(

Liquid rescale sounds nice but is only for rescaling. This feature would also be nice just having in windows resizing in order to keep the important objets "safe" while working.

Cedric,

Liquid Rescale plug-in allows both preserving and deleting objects.
