Bug 379150 noone cares about

Von: "Heiko Schmidt"

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379150

I wonder a bit why noone seems to pay attention to that bug.

Sorry If this should be the wrong place (GTK issue)

It is assigned to GTK+, so it's not surprising that no one here does pay attention. GTK+ bugs are not among the ones I browse regularly, for example.

I can't reproduce this with GIMP 2.3.18.

Bug 379150 noone cares about

I think I found out when this error happens.

As long as there are no more then 5 sub-directories all works well. But the 6. sub-directory let appear the problem.

Michael maybe you can now confirm this.

to save the file for example under C:\Neuer Ordner1\Neuer Ordner2\Neuer Ordner3\Neuer Ordner4\Neuer Ordner5 should work but

save under C:\Neuer Ordner\Neuer Ordner2\Neuer Ordner3\Neuer Ordner4\Neuer Ordner5\Neuer Ordner6 not!

btw it plays no rule if using "Save" "Save as" or "Save a copy"

Please give it a another try!

Heiko

Bug 379150 noone cares about

What I said in my previous mail was wrong. Sorry!

The point is if you open a file which is in for example

C:\Neuer Ordner\Neuer Ordner2\Neuer Ordner3\Neuer Ordner4\Neuer Ordner5\Neuer Ordner6

and then try to save the file in another folder the error happens but only if you choose another 'place' from the list on the left side.

Choose "Save a Copy" and instantly select another place.
