GEGL jpeg problem under win32

GEGL jpeg problem under win32

I have successfully got GEGL to build under MSYS/MINGW on win xp, however the jpeg library is throwing a "Premature end of JPEG file" error when attempting to load a JPEG file. As far as I can tell the error occurs on the first "jpeg_read_scanlines" call. The result seems to be that only one tile is loaded from the JPEG file. The environment is the same as I use to successfully build GIMP including the JPEG plug-in so any ideas would be very helpful.
