GSoC 2012 and 2013 projects update

Hi,

Just wondering how the GIMP development team is getting along with the following projects:

1. implementation of the combined selection tool (GSoC 2012) 2. implementation of the n-point image deformation tool (GSoC 2013)

It's been a while since anything was heard about these projects and they are not listed in the Gimp roadmap.

It wasn't a successful project.

It is merged into Git master.

Quick correction: The n-point deformation hasn't been merged yet.

It's close, but the gegl api still needs some review and potentially some cleanup before merge.
